Stunning Mercian Restoration
In my latest episode, I’ve taken on this stunning Mercian Triathon made from Reynolds 531c tubing. I’ve gone for a full custom build on...
The home of bicycle shenanigans by riders and mechanics who should know better
Instigator of bicycle shenanigans….
Welcome lovers of bicycle bodgery and all round shenanigans, established all the way back in 2023, I decided to try and create a channel full of the lighter and more budget conscious side of cycling.
Whatever your flavour, I got you covered with custom builds, rides and adventures of all kinds
Cycling is a huge part of my personal and professional life, so I’m happy to share my knowledge and adventures with you all!…
Build it and ride it!…
Ever since I became captivated by vintage and retro bikes, I’ve had a love for making my own custom creations - this is a big part of my channel, with a big focus on Gravel and Bikepacking.
I’ve always believed that budget shouldn’t stand in the way of riding and adventure - and one of my aims is to show you how you can achieve this with a bit of effort and a small budget…..!
A great gravel adventure for beginners!
In this episode we are taking to the gravel bikes for a trip on the peddars way in Norfolk.
We are tackling this in both directions over two days with approx 55 miles per day.
I think this is a great bikepacking or two day adventure ride for all riders, but especially for beginners looking for a taste of multi day riding!
I’m riding my on one freeranger and am joined by Chops, Dave, JC and Jason for this adventure.
In this episode, I’m stepping away from gravel retro shenanigans and showing you all a real piece of weird!
With a trip to Bristol on my horizon, I needed a folding bike I could take on the train to save me going in the car.
Enter my old Raleigh twenty stow away, this thing has been in storage for years and I thought it would be the perfect candidate for a custom build!
I converted the bottom bracket from 76mm to 73mm and threaded it to 24tpi to allow a modern BB to be fitted
I added 20” wheels and BMX tyres as well as a proper 2x7 speed set of gears - magic!!!
Join me for the build and the trip to Bristol in this one little video!
Pinky the Peugeot gets all geared up!
This is your Feature description. Write a short blurb explaining what the feature is and why it matters for visitors, customers or clients. Don’t be afraid to toot your own horn! Take this opportunity to emphasize the important benefits or key advantages.
Pushing a retro MTB frame to its limits?
. In this episode I’m going to be pushing what I think is the limits of what an old 26er steel frame can be converted into - by making this Gary Fisher Wahoo into a gravel adventure bike.
Starting with the frame, I’ll be adding wide range 2x9 speed gearing, 650b tubeless wheels and even disc brakes!!!
This is one super slick build bike fans, and the end result speaks for itself in my opinion! I think it looks amazing, plus it rides great too!!! - but you’ll have to wait for another video for a proper look at that!!
The build couldn’t have happened without a little help from Dave and Jack at www.pickeringsbikes.co.uk - based in Measham in the Midlands - thanks guys!!!
Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to fish the wheels out of the scrap and rebuild them, easily tubeless them or get those awesome ass savers parts to finish it off!!
